The EQUINOX 800 been designed for the serious coin & treasure enthusiast looking to upgrade to a high performance detector, without the high cost. Equinox 800 Detect Modes:

• Park Mode - which is specifically designed to optimise performance in park settings. This mode helps in discriminating against unwanted targets while still being sensitive enough to detect valuable items. 
• Field Mode - the Equinox 800 provides excellent target separation and depth capabilities, allowing you to detect a variety of targets with precision. The mode offers a good balance between sensitivity and discrimination, enabling you to find valuable items while minimising false signals from trash and unwanted targets.
• Beach Mode - provides enhanced ground balance settings to compensate for the mineralisation found in sandy and saltwater environments. This helps to minimise false signals caused by the conductivity of wet sand and saltwater, allowing you to focus on detecting valuable targets. 
• Gold Mode - utilises its advanced multi-frequency technology to detect small gold targets with exceptional accuracy. It operates at high frequencies that are particularly sensitive to gold's conductivity, making it highly effective at detecting even the tiniest gold nuggets.

User Interface:

The clear LCD features large Target ID numbers so you can see your target ID at a glance. All of the information you need when detecting is right on the screen at a glance.
Detect Modes and operating frequency can be instantly changed at the push of a button for a dynamic and uninterrupted detecting experience
Using the EQUINOX 800 user interface, you can:
