Due to the popularity of weekends, Monday - Friday is generally more available, but usually we can arrange a day that suits.
My rates are fixed for 1 on 1 tuition, but negotiable for higher numbers. Say if three mates book in, you will each pay less for the day, but then you won't get the same experience as a 1 on 1 session.
For personal item recovery, I charge a $50 call out fee, and $40 / hr charged in half hr blocks. Minimum charge is $50 plus half hr fee. So if I search for three hours and don't recover the item, the maximum fee will be $70.
We don't hire detectors outright, but as part of a half or full day session, you can pick from several high end models to use for the day. This is a good way to try out the hobby before deciding what detector to buy.
If you are getting into detecting to make lots of money, then you will most likely be disappointed. Metal detecting should be thought of as a fun, relaxing hobby, that will take you to many places you otherwise wouldn't have seen. It's a hobby that can pay for itself through finds, for those prepared to put in the time and effort.
If you need to cancel a booked session, just provide as much notice as possible, and there will be no cancellation fee.
